We are seeking the SMT's 2025 Photographer of the Year.

This year, we received 44 stunning entries capturing life at sea. The SMT crew had two months to submit their photos, and now it's time for all SMT office users to vote for their favourite image.

Below is a gallery displaying all the images in thumbnail format. Clicking on an image will enlarge it for easier viewing.

After selecting your favourite two images, note their numbers and cast your vote using the link below:

You will notice all the images are on the voting form - click on two of your favourite images, add your e-mail and click submit.

Remember, you have only one vote—make it count!

Voting is open until 31 August 2025.

Once voting closes, the five images with the most votes will go forward to SMT's photographer Joshi Martina, who will select the overall winner.
