MV Whyalla joins SMT Transshipment
MV Whyalla, a 13,000DWT gravity-fed belt unloader converted to a transhipper, has joined SMT’s transshipment operation in Ghana. The vessel is equipped with twin azimuth drives for propulsion and a strong bow thruster, enhancing its speed, stability, and maneuverability. The vessel has the ability to unload cargo directly to export vessels or to the holds of transshipment station MV Gdansk for onward loading to ocean going vessels.
