The Act represents the most extensive anti-bribery law in the world, and it is SMT’s policy to comply strictly with the Act and to require the same from everyone we do business with. The reporting of any corruption incidence is of utmost importance.

  • All incidents of corruption should be reported to SMT. This enables us to monitor all corruption demands at the ports we service, allowing us to be prepared.
  • REPORTING THROUGH THIS WEBSITE CAN BE DONE ANONYMOUSLY.
  • If one vessel successfully reduced or eliminated demands, share the experience with SMT for us to learn from your experience.
  • If you are successful once, it is likely that other vessels can learn from you.
  • Reporting can prepare SMT and all crew on what to expect before the first government official interaction in a specific

SMT is a member of the Maritime Anti-Corruption Network (MACN), a global network committed to eliminating maritime corruption.
